I got home from a long day at work followed by my Wednesday night self-defense class to find my boyfriend relaxing as usual just playing some newly released video game, without a care in the world. We chatted for a bit, but I still had self-defense on my mind. I have only been to three classes so far, so a lot of the other girls are much more advanced and impressive at their moves than I am.

So, naturally, I asked my boyfriend if he would make himself useful and allow me to practice my moves on him so that I can be prepared in the event of someone attacking me. Can you believe he tried to say no?!?! Like, what does he want me to be unprepared out there in the event of an attack? Reluctantly he agreed and in the end he gave me a great practice partner. Im not sure he expected his balls to be the source of my practice, but it is the best way to neutralize a male attacker!
